Bran Macborn created a number of submods for most mods to improve campaign AI, so that's something you could check out. With LME4 I believe you can have more than 20 units per stack, but I don't use that system, I just increase unit sizes, but yes both mods increase the basic unit numbers (men per unit), compared to vanilla.ĪI is what it is, campaigns can dry up into inactivity from but a handful of factions when I play on Hard campaign. I'm not sure if you can use more than 20 units in NTW3 campaign, but you are able to in custom set ups and historical battles, it's part of the structure. I think LME4 has the most to offer for any particular faction in campaign, the French choices are just of the chart, literally. I've finished a couple of campaigns recently with NTW3 and they ran OK.īoth mods offer a ton of new unit choices but I'm not nerdy enough to be able to state them all. ![]() LME4 is SP campaign focused, with various campaign periods to pick from, where as NTW3 is MP Historical Battles focused, but they are working to improve the SP campaign side. ![]() NTW3 SP campaign still needs some work but I've managed to finish a couple of campaigns.
